R40 reflector flood for 400 W AmerLite and Hayward lights
APC APC120400M is a 400 W, 120 V R40 reflector flood lamp with a standard medium (E26) screw base, lamp code 400R/FL. It replaces Pentair 79102200 in 400 W Pentair AmerLite pool lights and fits 400 W Hayward StarLite, Astrolite and Duralite lights.

Can I use a higher-wattage bulb?
No. Match the wattage and voltage printed on your light fixture label. A bigger bulb runs hotter than the housing, lens and gasket are rated for.
How do I change the bulb safely?
Turn off power to the light at the breaker and let the fixture cool before you open it. Replace the lens gasket if it is flattened or brittle, and do not run the light out of the water except for a brief test.

PST pool supplies are great to work with. I was having trouble finding this heat exchanger . Everywhere I looked, it was out of stock or back ordered. I contacted the manufacturer about buying the heat exchanger. They told me I couldn't buy it because I wasn't a dealer. If I was a dealer, they would be able to take the order.
