APC APC12300M is a 12 V, 300 W R40 reflector flood bulb with a standard E26 medium screw base. It is an aftermarket replacement for Pentair 79101900 (AmerLite, SwimQuip) and Hayward SPX0541Z1 (StarLite, AstroLite) in 12 V pool lights.

Will this work in a 120 V pool light?
No. This is a 12 V lamp for lights fed by a 12 V transformer. A 120 V light needs a 120 V bulb, so check your old bulb or the light's label first.
Can I run the light out of the water to test it?
Only for a second or two. A 300 W incandescent pool light relies on the water for cooling and overheats quickly in open air.

PST pool supplies are great to work with. I was having trouble finding this heat exchanger . Everywhere I looked, it was out of stock or back ordered. I contacted the manufacturer about buying the heat exchanger. They told me I couldn't buy it because I wasn't a dealer. If I was a dealer, they would be able to take the order. My hot tub stopped giving a signal to trigger the heating core. I had to replace a whole motherboard and they had the perfect product and with a couple of screws. It went right right in and worked perfectly.
