APC APC120250DC is a 250 W, 120 V T4 quartz halogen bulb with a BA15d double-contact bayonet (twist-lock) base, lamp code Q250CL/DC. It replaces Pentair 79112700, the bayonet-style 250 W bulb for Pentair AquaLight lights built between May 1991 and January 1998.

Will this fit an AquaLight built after 1998?
No. AquaLights built after January 1998 take a mini screw-in (E11) bulb; the 250 W version is the APC120250S. This bayonet bulb fits the earlier twist-lock socket.
How do I change the bulb safely?
Turn off power to the light at the breaker and let the fixture cool before you open it. Handle the new quartz bulb by its base or with a clean cloth, because skin oil on the glass shortens bulb life. Replace the lens gasket if it is flattened or cracked, and do not run the light out of the water except for a brief test.

PST pool supplies are great to work with. I was having trouble finding this heat exchanger . Everywhere I looked, it was out of stock or back ordered. I contacted the manufacturer about buying the heat exchanger. They told me I couldn't buy it because I wasn't a dealer. If I was a dealer, they would be able to take the order.
