APC APC120250C78 is a 250 W double-ended T3 quartz halogen bulb with R7s clip-in contacts at both ends, 78 mm (about 3-1/16 in.) long. It is the short 78 mm bulb for Pentair AquaLumin II pool and spa lights and matches the standard Q250T3/CL lamp.

Do I need the 78 mm or the 83 mm bulb?
Measure the old bulb tip to tip. This one is 78 mm (about 3-1/16 in.). If yours is 83 mm (3-1/4 in.), order the APC120250C. A bulb that is too short will not make contact in the clips.
How do I change the bulb safely?
Turn off power to the light at the breaker and let the fixture cool before you open it. Handle the new quartz bulb by its base or with a clean cloth, because skin oil on the glass shortens bulb life. Replace the lens gasket if it is flattened or cracked, and do not run the light out of the water except for a brief test.

PST pool supplies are great to work with. I was having trouble finding this heat exchanger . Everywhere I looked, it was out of stock or back ordered. I contacted the manufacturer about buying the heat exchanger. They told me I couldn't buy it because I wasn't a dealer. If I was a dealer, they would be able to take the order.
