The Aladdin APCO2400 Pump Housing O-Ring (SKU PST-APCO2400) is the drop-in replacement seal for legacy Jacuzzi and Sta-Rite pool pumps that use the U9-211 / 47-0357-04 series gasket. Which pumps does the APCO2400 O-Ring fit?
It is the housing O-Ring for legacy Jacuzzi pumps using service parts 47-0357-04-R, 47-0357-46-R, and 47-0433-51-R, and for Sta-Rite pumps that call out the U9-211. If your OEM parts list shows any of those numbers, the APCO2400 is the correct replacement.
What's the difference between the APCO2400 and the lid O-Ring?
The APCO2400 is the body to housing seal between the volute and the strainer pot, not the clear lid. If your leak is coming from under the see-through basket lid, you need the lid O-Ring (a different size); if it weeps from the seam where the two pump halves bolt together, this is the one you want.
Can I install this O-Ring myself?
Yes. Turn the pump off, close the suction and return valves, drain the housing, then remove the clamp band or housing bolts. Wipe the groove clean, apply a thin film of silicone O-Ring lube (no petroleum jelly), seat the new APCO2400 in the groove without twisting it, then bolt the housing back together evenly. Re-prime and check for leaks.
