The Aladdin APCKIT6 (SKU PST-APCK1057) is the complete seal-and-gasket service kit for Sta-Rite P2R and P2RA Dura-Glas Series and Max-E-Glas pool pumps built before 1998. You get the motor shaft seal, every O-ring the wet end uses, the diffuser gasket, and a packet of Magic Lube in one box. Drop it in when your old pump is dripping at the housing, weeping at the lid, or wetting the motor canopy and you want to bring the whole wet end back to factory-tight in one service call.

Which Sta-Rite pumps does the APCKIT6 fit?
It fits the Sta-Rite P2R and P2RA Dura-Glas Series and Max-E-Glas pumps built before 1998. If your pump was made in 1998 or later, the wet end uses a different seal package and you want the GO-KIT54 instead. Check the date code on the motor canopy or the pump nameplate.
What is the difference between APCKIT6 and GO-KIT6?
They are the same kit. APCKIT6 is the Aladdin private-label / distributor part number and GO-KIT6 is the standard Aladdin catalog number. Same contents, same box, same fitment.
Does this kit include the impeller or the seal plate?
No. APCKIT6 is a soft-parts service kit only: one motor shaft seal, four O-rings, one diffuser gasket, and Magic Lube. The impeller, diffuser, seal plate, and housing are sold separately because they rarely fail on a normal rebuild.
Can I install this myself?
Yes, if you are comfortable pulling the motor off the wet end. You need a 7/16 inch wrench for the band clamp bolts, a strap wrench for the impeller, and a clean rag to seat the new shaft seal. Plan on 45 to 60 minutes. Kill power at the breaker first and bleed system pressure before opening the pump.
Do I need to use the Magic Lube that ships in the kit?
Use it. A thin coat on every O-ring before reassembly prevents the rubber from pinching or rolling out of its groove during seating, and it makes the next rebuild far easier. Do not use petroleum grease, which swells and destroys the O-rings.
