The Air Supply Cyclone Pro is a blower for clearing water out of plumbing at closing and for pulling a vinyl liner tight at install. Its 8.4 in two stage bypass motor puts out 140 CFM on open flow and holds 180 in of water sealed pressure, which is what actually matters when you are pushing air through a long return line, not the horsepower on the box. It is strong enough to winterize pools up to 9 ft deep. The housing carries a dual sized inlet that takes a 4 in flex hose or 2 in PVC behind a stainless screen, and the 1.5 in threaded outlet ships with a hose adapter.

Can I just use a shop vac to blow out my lines?
The Cyclone Pro is a two stage blower rated at 180 in of water sealed pressure, which is what pushes standing water out of a full length return line instead of just rippling it.
How do I connect it to my equipment pad?
The outlet is 1.5 in threaded and ships with a hose adapter, so it connects to standard blowout hose or PVC fittings at the pump, skimmer, or return line.
Does it really install liners too?
Yes. Set it to pull instead of push, seal the liner at the coping, and the vacuum draws the liner tight into the corners before the pool is filled.
What size circuit does it need?
It pulls 14 amps at 120V, so plan on a dedicated 20 amp GFCI circuit. Undersized extension cords cause voltage drop and will overheat.

Needed to replace the control overlay on our Nordic Impulse hot tub, but could not find out the make or model number of the actual control panel on our tub. By taking measurements and photos or our actual control panel button positions and functions, I was able to narrow down the options. I ordered this overlay as the button positions seemed to be in the right positions, even though the overall size was smaller than the control panel. The overlay works, in that all buttons and functions are in the right place, and the overlay seems to have adhered well to the panel. It is not a perfect match, as it is smaller overall than it should be. But I am happy with the result and will buy an additional identical overlay as a backup in case this one, too, deteriorates at some point. Took a lot of detecting, but the result is successful!
