Description
Air Supply Cyclone Pro 3 HP Winterizing Blower and Liner Vac
Two stages of air, one closing done right.
The Air Supply Cyclone Pro is the blower pool pros use to clear water out of plumbing at closing and to pull a vinyl liner tight at install. Its 8.4 in two stage bypass motor puts out 140 CFM on open flow and holds 180 in of water sealed pressure, which is what actually matters when you are pushing air through a long return line, not the horsepower on the box. It is strong enough to winterize pools up to 9 ft deep. The polycarbonate housing carries a dual sized inlet that takes a 4 in flex hose or 2 in PVC behind a stainless screen, and the 1.5 in threaded outlet ships with a hose adapter.
Why PST Customers Pick This
Two Stage Bypass Motor
The 8.4 in two stage motor builds the static pressure a single stage shop vac cannot, which is what pushes water all the way out of a long return line.
Winterizes To 9 ft Deep
Enough pressure to clear the plumbing on pools up to 9 ft deep, so main drain lines and deep end returns actually blow clear.
Doubles As A Liner Vac
Reverse the job and the same blower pulls a vinyl liner tight to the wall and floor, so one machine covers closing season and liner work.
Dual Sized Inlet
Accepts a 4 in flex hose or 2 in PVC pipe, protected by a stainless steel screen so debris cannot get pulled into the motor.
Polycarbonate Housing
Durable polycarbonate takes the knocks of being hauled between jobs and stored in a truck bed better than a thin plastic shell.
20 Amp Rocker Switch
A heavy 20 amp rocker switch handles the 14 amp draw of the motor, which is where cheaper blowers tend to fail first.
Electrical Safety
This blower draws 14 amps at 120V, so give it a dedicated GFCI protected circuit and avoid long or light gauge extension cords. NEC 680 applies to equipment used around a pool. Never run the blower with the inlet screen removed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I just use a shop vac to blow out my lines?
A shop vac moves air but builds very little static pressure. The Cyclone Pro is a two stage blower rated at 180 in of water sealed pressure, which is what pushes standing water out of a full length return line instead of just rippling it.
How do I connect it to my equipment pad?
The outlet is 1.5 in threaded and ships with a hose adapter, so it connects to standard blowout hose or PVC fittings at the pump, skimmer, or return line.
Does it really install liners too?
Yes. Set it to pull instead of push, seal the liner at the coping, and the vacuum draws the liner tight into the corners before the pool is filled.
What size circuit does it need?
It pulls 14 amps at 120V, so plan on a dedicated 20 amp GFCI circuit. Undersized extension cords cause voltage drop and will overheat.
