Paired with the Pool FROG mineral reservoir, it lets you run up to 50% less chlorine than the EPA's minimum 1.0 ppm level for stabilized pools. Which Pool FROG system does the 540C fit?
The 540C is built for the Pool FROG XL Pro in-ground cycler only. It is not the same as the smaller BAM/off-line pac used by other Pool FROG models, so match your cycler to the XL Pro before ordering.
How long does one Pac last?
With the XL Pro's precise low-flow feeding, one 540C runs about 3 to 4 weeks depending on pool size, water temperature, and bather load. Set the dial higher for heavy use, lower for a lightly used pool, then swap in a fresh Pac when it is spent.
How do I install the Pac safely?
Cut the cartridge at the molded plastic indents, flip it upside down, and seat it in the XL Pro chlorine cycler so the Pac's openings line up, then replace the cap and hand tighten. Wear eye protection, keep it away from other chemicals, and wash your hands afterward, Trichlor is a strong oxidizer and can irritate skin, eyes, and lungs.

Our pool and spa are over 25 yrs old. When the spa air button stopped working, we found that it was no longer avaliable.
