The GLI ProMesh 16' x 32' premium mesh safety cover (SKU PST-201632REPRMGRN) is the cover you install once and stop thinking about. Its patented tight-weave polypropylene blocks 98% of sunlight while rain and snowmelt drain straight through, so the water underneath stays clear and the surface stays dry. How is ProMesh different from Secur-A-Pool?
Both are GLI mesh safety covers that anchor to the deck and drain through. ProMesh uses a tighter patented weave that blocks 98% of sunlight, ships with commercial grade springs, and carries a 20-year warranty. Secur-A-Pool is the standard mesh line at 15 years. ProMesh costs more and opens cleaner.
What size should I order?
Order by pool size, not cover size. This one is built for a 16' x 32' pool and extends past the edge so anchors land in the deck. Measure the water surface at its longest and widest points, and pick the matching step layout if your steps fall outside the rectangle.
Do I need a cover pump?
No. Water drains through the mesh into the pool, so nothing pools on top and there is no pump to maintain. The pool level will rise over the winter, so plan on lowering it when you open. Solid covers are the ones that need a pump, and they are in in ground winter covers.
What comes in the box?
