The GLI ProMesh 16' x 32' rectangle premium mesh safety cover (SKU PST-201632REPRMGRN) is the cover you install once and stop thinking about. Its patented tight-weave polypropylene blocks 98% of sunlight while rain and snowmelt drain straight through, so the water underneath stays clear and the surface stays dry. How is ProMesh different from Secur-A-Pool?
Both are GLI mesh safety covers that anchor to the deck and drain through. ProMesh uses a patented weave that blocks 98% of sunlight and carries a 20-year warranty. Secur-A-Pool is the standard mesh line at 15 years. ProMesh costs more and opens cleaner.
What size should I order?
Order by pool size, not cover size. This one is built for a 16' x 32' rectangle pool and extends past the edge so anchors land in the deck. Measure the water surface at its longest and widest points, and pick the matching step layout if your steps fall outside the rectangle.
Do I need a cover pump?
No. Water drains through the mesh into the pool, so nothing pools on top and there is no pump to maintain. The pool level will rise over the winter, so plan on lowering it when you open. Solid covers are the ones that need a pump, and they are in in ground winter covers.
What comes in the box?
The cover, concrete deck anchors, springs with covers, a tamping and installation tool, the installation rod, strap hardware and a storage bag. First installation requires drilling the anchor positions into the deck; after that, seasonal on and off is straightforward.

Needed to replace the control overlay on our Nordic Impulse hot tub, but could not find out the make or model number of the actual control panel on our tub. By taking measurements and photos or our actual control panel button positions and functions, I was able to narrow down the options. I ordered this overlay as the button positions seemed to be in the right positions, even though the overall size was smaller than the control panel. The overlay works, in that all buttons and functions are in the right place, and the overlay seems to have adhered well to the panel. It is not a perfect match, as it is smaller overall than it should be. But I am happy with the result and will buy an additional identical overlay as a backup in case this one, too, deteriorates at some point. Took a lot of detecting, but the result is successful!
