  • SAND FILTERS - Can filter from 20 to 100 microns. Needs manual backwashing every few weeks. Cheap thus easy to replace.
  • CARTRIDGE FILTERS - No backwashing! Easy to operate. Able to filter down to 10 microns.
  • DE FILTERS - Great filtering ability: as small as 5 microns. But it is the most expensive filter type.
