One 1.5 oz packet of effervescent sodium dichlor establishes an immediate 1.0 to 3.0 ppm chlorine residual, burns off the organic contaminants that come in with a new fill, and gets your water swim-ready. Add it directly to the spa water only, never the reverse. Keep it dry and sealed, store it away from other chemicals, and keep it out of reach of children and pets. Wear eye protection and wash your hands after dosing.

Can I use this in a saltwater or bromine spa?
Use it as the fresh-fill start-up on a chlorine or FROG @ease spa. If you run a bromine system, Jump Start still works to establish the initial bank at start-up, but never mix it with bromine tablets or any other chemical outside the water. Add it to the spa directly and let the water do the mixing.

Our pool and spa are over 25 yrs old. When the spa air button stopped working, we found that it was no longer avaliable.
