URGENT: Hayward is Discontinuing Legacy ProLogic Parts - What DIY Pool Owners Need to Know

Does your pool or spa rely on a Hayward ProLogic® system? Then you should be aware of a major manufacturer update that will make certain repairs on your system difficult, and a bit more expensive, going forward. Hayward has officially announced the phase-out of select legacy ProLogic accessories and remote controls. While this old system is being discontinued, we still have limited inventory available to help you avoid a total system overhaul.

Hayward ProLogic to OmniPL Retrofit Automation Kit

Find out how this can impact your current setup, and how you can bypass expensive professional upgrade costs by acting today. This update comes directly from Hayward’s official partner communication.

The DIY-Friendly Upgrade Path (OmniPL Retrofit)

Hayward is actively encouraging customers who own legacy ProLogic systems to upgrade to the new OmniPL® platform using the OmniPL Retrofit Kit. While Hayward suggests upgrading using an "Expert Line" kit—which is only available through a professional or in-store purchase – DO NOT FRET!

We have the "Open Line" version, which is 100% DIY-friendly and fully approved for online purchase. The HLXPROUPG OmniPL Retrofit Kit is currently available in our inventory. By choosing this path, you can easily upgrade your own system and bypass expensive professional installation fees. You get the modern touchscreen, Wi-Fi connection, and smartphone control without the massive contractor markup.

Phase 1: Already Discontinued (Final Stock Remaining)

Hayward has already permanently discontinued production on several key ProLogic accessories. They are no longer manufacturing the following parts. What we currently have is our absolute final stock:

If you need any of these specific parts to keep your system alive, do not wait! Once our inventory counter hits zero, they are gone forever.

Phase 2: The Looming September 1, 2026 Deadline

For a few remaining wireless components, Hayward has placed them on a strict "While Supplies Last" timeline. They will be officially discontinued on September 1, 2026 and your opportunity window to purchase the last remaining stocks is closing in fast.

We think inventory is drying up fast as pool owners are already scrambling to secure these last parts:

(Note: Hayward has also stated that while the AquaConnect app is currently functioning, its long-term future is under review. Securing physical remotes is the best way to ensure your system remains controllable.)

Protect Your System Today

Don't get locked out of your own pool automation. Grab these legacy replacement parts while our supplies last, avoid the need for an expensive full professional upgrade, and keep your current system running smoothly.
