Pentair backs its pool and spa equipment with a limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. How long you're covered depends on the product, where it was purchased, and whether it was professionally installed and registered. Activate your coverage. Every Pentair product includes a 60-day limited warranty automatically. To receive the full warranty period shown below, you must register the product and submit proof of purchase — plus your installer's invoice for professionally installed equipment — within 60 days of installation.

Registering your product

Register at pentair.com within 60 days of installation. You'll need your sales receipt and, for professionally installed equipment, your installer's invoice. Without registration, coverage is limited to the 60-day base warranty.

  • Freeze damage and improper water chemistry
  • Improper installation, misuse, or neglect
  • Non-Pentair replacement parts

How to file a claim

Pentair warranty repairs are handled through an authorized Pentair service professional, who files the claim on your behalf — pre-approval is required before a covered item is replaced.
