I bought this hoping to repair the connection of my Pentair IntelliChlor IC40. One of the original nuts cracked and I would have had to cut PVC pipe and measure everything perfectly to install a new OEM nut to fix it. This split nut worked perfectly! There was a scare that the flow switch housing would interfere with the fit, but it fit like a glove with no modification! My pool was back on line before any signs of algae.
I've only had these lights installed for just a little over a week, so I can't speak as to its longevity, but I love them so far!!! They are bright enough to light my entire pool and spa area, and I absolutely LOVE the remote! No more running over to the main box to flip them on and off, now I can do all my color changes from the remote!! I will say that the spa light doesn't give me the same bright blue as the pool light (it's more like a turquoise) but that's a small complaint. The remote is very touch responsive, so be careful holding it or you'll accidently change the color; however, it has a very long range because I can actually change the colors from the inside of my house! Plus, the installation was fairly quick and easy. I was replacing a Hayward Color Logic that went out after 17 years, and I was worried it wouldn't fit. Thankfully, it fit perfectly without any problems. If /when the light does go out, replacing should be easy due to the plug on the back of the lights. I couldn't be happier! Oh, and PST Pool supply was amazing with their customer service (online chat for the win), quick ship time, and nice discount codes. I can definitively recommend these PAL lights AND PST Pool supply company. :)

Firs perfect! PST Pool Supplies are fantastic. A prior skimmer I purchased didn't fit and the return was no problem and postage free. Now THAT'S customer service!
Works as stated. Remote worked within 2 minutes; just remember to re-pair the remote with the base. :-)
